Switzerland Inn : On
the Blue Ridge Parkway between North Carolina's Mt. Mitchell
(the tallest peak east of the Rockies) and Grandfather
Mountain (with the mile-high swinging bridge), the
Switzerland Inn has delighted visitors since 1910 with its
fantastic mountain views and easy access to NC's Blue Ridge
Parkway.
The Inn features 72 Blue Ridge mountain-view rooms,
private chalets, a honeymoon cottage and the Diamondback
Motorcycle Lodge with covered motorcycle parking. Our
mountaintop resort features a host of amenities including
unique arts and crafts shopping, full service restaurant, 2
patio bars, tennis courts and a swimming pool with two
outdoor hot tubs - just to name a few. Our renowned
Chalet Restaurant at Switzerland Inn overlooks the scenic
Blue Ridge mountain valley. |

Some of you are probably on the waiting list but some other
options for nearby lodging to consider are :
Big
Lynn Lodge ($20 off per night + Breakfast,
just mention the BRBS) and the
Alpine
Inn .. Additional lodging options can
also be found in
Spruce Pine which is located about 8mi up the road from
Little Switzerland. For a unique mountain
experience you can also find several cabins for rent in the
area as well as some amazing Bed & Breakfast locations.
If you're at a loss with somewhere to stay, let us know and
we'll do our best to help.
The Switzerland Inn will have no problem accommodating
everyone for meals and event activities regardless of where
you are staying.

Riders and sportscar drivers
challenging the
Diamondback Motorcycle and Sportscar
Route (226A) will find the Blue Ridge Parkway
entrance and the Switzerland Inn right at the crest of the
route. The Inn's driveway is the immediate right as you
enter the Parkway.
